Swimming...In April?!?

Austin and his friend were a bit eager to enjoy the warm weather on Easter Sunday, they thought it would be a good idea to go swimming. They both jumped in, went down the slide twice, and called it a day. It was beautiful out, but the water was not quite as warm as they would have preferred! They ran strait to the hot tub after each plunge!

My Other Future All Star

Aubrey is learning to love baseball too (shocker, I know). She loves to watch her big brother play, and can cheer for him louder than mommy (which is very loud!). Today she and her brother were playing baseball in the house, she was counting strikes. Austin started getting frustrated when she was up to "twrike 5!" She actually has a pretty good swing, and a pretty good arm too, we just need to work on accuracy! Here are some pictures from Easter Sunday at our friends' house. We had a great day full of outdoor fun!

Easter Fun

We had a very nice Easter again this year. We colored Easter Eggs the night before at our Red Sox Friend's house, with a baseball game outside thrown in, and then got up the next morning to find that the Easter bunny had been here and hid eggs with clues all over the house! Austin read the clues and raced Aubrey to find all of the eggs that eventually led to their candy filled baskets. They had a great time, when they weren't fighting over who was going to put the egg in the carton. After church we headed back to the Sox friends' house for a fun filled day of food, sun and lots of laughs. I was sad to see the day end, but it ended well. It was opening day of baseball, and the Sox beat the Yankees 9 to 7. It doesn't get any better than that.
