-Giving a wet and dripping Dolly a bath after Aubrey decided to give her a bath...in the toilet.
-Working, working, working some more.
-Watching too much TV.
-Getting rocks out of my washer/dryer after washing Austin's pants. The boy can't go anywhere without picking up at least one.
-Walking in place, trying to get my step counter to count double time for my walking challenge at work. I am not winning. I am not happy.
-Putting together Aubrey's Dora puzzle, over and over and over again.
-Yelling at my kids to stop yelling at each other.
-Loading and unloading the dishwasher at least 3-4 times per day. Maybe it just seems like this many.
-Watching Aubrey jump on/over/up/off of on anything she can.
-Working some more.
-Trying to convince Aubrey that she wants to start using the potty. Fruitless efforts at this point.
-Waiting for summer, or at least warmer weather.
-Going to parent teacher conferences at Austin's school and learning that he is brilliant (well, I already knew that) and doing great.
-Listening to Austin read, which is just so awesome.
-Making copies for Austin's teacher, and the teacher next door to Austin's teacher. Teachers use a lot of paper, and do tons of handouts with kids. Didn't realize how many until I started making their copies!
-Napping
-Listening to Brian count down days until pitchers and catchers report, and then count down days until spring training begins.
-Trying to keep the mess in the house to a minimum so that should anyone show up they won't threaten to take the kids away from me.
-Rereading Harry Potter Series, again.
-Paperwork, from working so much.

My Rock Star Part II
This girl is multi-talented...
And I know what you are thinking, my child never gets out of her pajamas. But that is most certainly not true. On the days she leaves the house she does. Unless it is just leaving to go and get Nahnie, then we don't bother.

Cabin Fever
So Austin still hasn't had a full week of school since Christmas break. Last week was going to be his first, but we got hit with "the storm of the century" (or at least of the year) and he had Thursday and Friday off. And so did Brian and I as my work was closed and the court houses were closed. So we had high hopes for this week, but alas, he was off today and gets tomorrow off as well. Maybe Wednesday? The snow/freezing rain has subsided, but the side roads are still a mess. Aubrey's daycare follows Austin's school schedule, so her daycare is closed if his school is closed. I love snow days as much as the next guy, but we are getting cabin fever. We have been playing lots of games, watching WAY too much TV and fighting WAY WAY too much. It is time to get out of this house! And, I haven't been able to do much walking outside, so I have to do it in the house and I am wearing a path in the carpet getting in my steps for the walking challenge. One can only go around the house so many times before getting dizzy, or knocking down a toddler who thinks following you marching is fun, or tripping on some random toy laying on the floor. I am so ready for nice weather!
On the upside, (other than getting to spend more time with the kids), I did get my house cleaned thoroughly, which hasn't been done since, well, I don't really want to say but it was long overdue. But with the kids home days at a time, it won't take long before it is destroyed again!
